How long will it take to build my website?
Once we have your logo, job photos, contact info, service agreement, and completed Online Form in hand, we’ll have your new website designed, coded, and ready for your review and launch in 1 week.
What do I need to provide to get started?
We’ll need you to provide: Photos of your shop, location, and/or recent jobs (we can use stock photos to get started, if needed). A digital copy of your logo. A signed copy of our monthly service agreement. Complete our Online Information Form so that we have complete details about your business, and be available to answer questions along the way.
How many pages does my website include?
Most websites include 1-5 pages depending on the package you choose. Additional pages are available as needed, for an additional charge.
Who will 'host' my website?
We will! Hosting means storing all of your website information (pictures and text) on a computer server so that whenever someone types in your business website address, those files and pictures are accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Do I need my own domain name?
If you already own a domain that you’d like to use for your new website, we’ll help connect it to your new website. If not, we will be happy to help you select the best domain/URL for your contractor website.
Do I own the website and the content?
Any photos, logo, or other material that you provide to us belongs to you. Because we don’t charge very much for the design upfront, all other website elements and code that we create are leased, like a service or a utility. Clients of Gung Ho Local are granted the right to use the website we create as long as they remain customers.
Will I own my domain?
Yes. While managing your domain at our registrar enables us to manage your website for you, you will always be the legal owner of your domain.
Can I connect my website to other software?
Yes. We offer 3rd party integrations, and can connect your new website to your other software (like Jobber). We also connect to all of your social media profiles and make it easy for customers to like and follow you.
How are website edits or updates handled?
Just drop us a message and we’ll get right on it. Your service agreement includes up to 1 hour of content changes, updates, photos, etc per month. Never worry about your Website again!
Are new pages or functionality included?
We’re happy to discuss options and costs for whatever you have in mind. We can add additional pages or special functionality to your site on an as-needed basis, either before launch or at any point in the future.
Do you handle the website software updates?
Yes, we’ll regularly scan your website to ensure it stays safe from malware and other threats, and we’ll make sure that the behind-the-scenes software that powers your website is kept up-to-date. That’s all included in your monthly service.
Is my Website built to be SEO friendly?
Absolutely! Because what’s the point of designing a website if no one is ever going to find it? Unlike many web designers or DIY website builders who charge extra for on-page SEO, we include it in all of our websites.
